Environmental clean ups

Tseyi' Canyon Keepers organize regular environmental clean-ups to remove trash and invasive species from the canyon. These clean-ups help maintain the natural beauty of the area and protect its delicate ecosystem. We invite community members and visitors alike to participate in these important events and help us keep Canyon de Chelly pristine.

February 22, 2026 • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

March 29, 2026 • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Participants please meet at the Mouth of Canyon de Chelly. 

Essential equipment includes Gloves, Shovels, Rakes, and Picks.

A complimentary meal will be provided from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
